HUMANITYIMAGES

How well do we each see?

How well do we pay attention?

From the endless colors and curves and rhythms of nature to the eyes of a friend, how well do we notice?

In this section, our purpose will be to extend seeing; to invite wider horizons or sharper focus; to encourage the visual linger; to better deploy our eyes in a too fast, too much world.   down

For example, we will link you to the work of a dozen of the most compelling humanistic photographers and visual artists in the world. We are inviting each to create pages expressly for our site. Similar to Tom Ockerse's statement in our design philosophy section, we are inviting experienced visual artists to share their work and wisdom about seeing anew.

Meanwhile, we have prepared, as a series of fourteen postcards, a selection of outstanding images of people from four continents. It's a way of encouraging all of us to be and stay in touch.
