Jorie Graham
"She makes no attempt to seduce the reader through
cleverness," one critic says of Jorie Graham, "but only to
challenge her own mind and see if we can hold on for the ride."
Raised by American parents in Italy and educated in French schools, Ms.
Graham has published five books of poetry. In 1996, she was awarded the
Pulitzer Prize for her work. Jorie is presently on the faculty of
the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop in the United States.
