We’ve officially rolled out the palm scan app — and the first batch of users have successfully completed their biometric verification using their palm scan.
This marks the beginning of a new era in our testnet journey, where we move beyond basic identity reservation into actual human authentication. All done privately, securely, and verifiably on-chain.
Phase 2 Is Here — What That Means
Thus far, over 8,000,000 users reserved their Human ID by signing up and referring others. That laid the foundation for our network and moved us closer to building the largest verifiable identity graph. More than just the ability to verify real humans, Human IDs act as the gateway to a world of opportunities from proving RWA ownership to entering events and buildings.
Now in Phase 2, we begin the process of verifying users as real, unique humans through palm scans — a core requirement for participating in future identity-based apps, airdrops, and governance systems built on Humanity Protocol. We’re starting with a gradual rollout to ensure stability, security, and support. The pioneering verified humans were selected based on a mix of referral activity, region, device compatibility, and waitlist position. These users have:

As the palm scan app rollout begins, we’re also preparing to release Step 3: Attestations — where verified users can begin building reusable, privacy-preserving credentials tied to their Human ID. These will unlock powerful real-world and on-chain use cases, from lending to voting.
