This year’s TOKEN2049 was one for the books. Between numerous brand activations, potential partners, and conversations, this year's TOKEN week marked a defining moment for Humanity Protocol and a glimpse into the future of digital identity.
Across three days, thousands of builders, founders, and innovators visited our booth, joined our community, and got hands-on with the Humanity Protocol experience. From our on-site verification sessions to the Moongate quest activations and the afterparty at Sentosa Cove, TOKEN2049 proved that the movement toward user-centered identity is heating up.
New Verified Humans
The Humanity booth drew constant crowds where Humanity's team of 10 marketers and developers had insightful conversations with thousands of potential new builders, partners, and users. Over 318 people became verified humans, each unlocking taking their first step into a world where identity can’t be faked, stolen, or controlled.
Every verification was a live demonstration of how simple and secure the process is; a few seconds to scan your palm, powered by advanced biometric matching and zero-knowledge proofs. For many, this was their first direct encounter with decentralized identity, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive: fast, intuitive, and deeply empowering.
Moongate Quests
Together with Moongate, we brought a layer of interactivity to TOKEN2049 with two days of quests and activities. Over 1,427 participants joined the Humanity x Moongate quest experience, completing a staggering 8,995 quests in total, nearly 3,000 more than last year.
These quests were designed to help users understand how Humanity Protocol’s identity-first blockchain works in action. From learning how to reserve a Human ID, to exploring how biometric attestation powers our ecosystem, participants earned rewards for discovering the technology behind digital trust.
Powered by Moongate’s on-chain engagement and ticketing platform, the Quest built on last year’s success in turning large-scale events into immersive, interactive experiences. Attendees completed social tasks, such as posting on Twitter and verifying these activities through the app, to begin earning rewards before the conference.
Once the doors opened, the list of quests expanded to include on-site activities and venue-wide challenges. From exploring exhibitions to engaging with sponsor activations, every completed quest earns Llama Points. Llama Points were redeemed for over 2,000 pieces of official TOKEN2049 merchandise and exclusive prizes. The in-app rewards list showed real-time availability and point requirements, allowing participants to strategize their path to the most coveted items.
The quests turned our booth into one of the most dynamic hotspots of TOKEN2049, being a further testament to Moongate's capabilities. Moongate provides a white-labeled quest ecosystem that unifies online and offline activities into one seamless app experience at events worldwide.
